UI completed the development of a 4F logistics facility located at the junction of Route 16, which connects Chiba, Saitama and Kanagawa prefectures, and Route 4 which runs from Nihonbashi all the way north to Aomori Prefecture giving it excellent access to all of the Kanto plain as well as northern Japan.

The land site consisted of 8 parcels owned by multiple owners and UI negotiated the aggregation of the site; the demolition and relocation of the current users; and, the development permit which included changing the zoning from farmland.

The facility features international standard floor loads of 2.5t/m2 on 1F with 1.5t/m2 on other floors, ceiling clear heights of 6.0 meters as well as four high speed cargo elevators with 4.5 ton capacity and two palette lifters. The truck courts have 11 meter spans which can accommodate of up to 32 trucks in lateral cross docked formation. The facility also includes LED lighting, roof solar panels and temperature control on floors 2 through 4 to allow for a comfortable working atmosphere in both summer and winter.
